Gail Rosenberg is the proud parent of two and the grandmother of three. She has worked as the Office Manager of West End Temple since April 2012. She retired in 2010 from the NYC Department of Education as a High School Assistant Principal of Students with Special Needs. She started her career in education as a Paraprofessional for Students with Multiple Handicaps, returned to Queens College where she received her BS in Home Economics Education, Masters in Special Education and Advanced Certificate in Administration and Supervision. As a single parent she could not have accomplished this without the strong, unwavering support of her two sons. Her years in education taught her much about people, responsibilities and timelines; she is able to use this knowledge as she deals with the day-to-day operations of the Temple.     

​Carol McKenna, born and raised in New York City, has been a Rockaway resident since 2007.  After graduating from The Bronx High School of Science, Carol went on to earn a BA in Music from Hunter College/CUNY, an MA in French Translation from Middlebury College/Vermont and Paris, an MBA in Accountancy from Baruch College/CUNY.  She has always made it a priority to use her skills in organizations specializing in her life’s greatest passions: music, language and, finally – here at the Temple – Judaism.
